Lazarus' Miracle

The most incredible thing just happened to my family, but primarily my brother Lazarus! My brother was extremely ill and sickly, so my sister and I sent a message for Jesus to come and cure him. Lazarus passed away before Jesus could reach him. When He finally arrived, I was quite upset with hi. In fact, I blamed Him for the entire thing. I expressed to Jesus that if he had come earlier my brother would still be alive. All of a sudden, I called Jesus the Son of God and the Messiah. I cannot explain why I did it, it was just an intuition I had. I went to get Mary and brought her to Jesus. We led him to Lazarus' tomb and we rolled away the stone, for he wanted to witness our deceased brother. He prayed for a while, then announced: "Lazarus! Come out!" And just like that, within seconds, my brother miraculously walked out of the tomb. I know you must be thinking that I'm crazy, but I know what I saw. It was truly a miracle performed by God, and I was fortunate enough to witness it.

Am I my Sister's Keeper?

I am so frustrated. Mary, my younger, rebellious sister, refuse to do any type of work. She has never lifted a finger in her life. I am always stuck doing all the household chores. I cook, I clean, I do the dishes, I fix the cots, I sweep the floors, along with trying to uphold my bed and Breakfast business. Please, do not take this the wrong way, I love my sister. I adore her in fact. I often wish I had the carefree spirit she exemplifies everyday. I just sometimes wish she would help out every now and then. I have practically raised her and pray that one day she will show her appreciation by helping me out and lifting a few of the burdens off my back.

Welcome to Bethany

I have always been good friends with Jesus, but we have recently become closer than ever. I mean, it is not everyday that Jesus himself strolls into Jerusalem and asks for a place to stay. He preached to my siblings, Mary and Lazarus, and I lessons from the Bible everyday. He elaborately explained the significance of each story and gave us something to apply in our own lives from each one. How lucky are we? Not everyone gets this once in a lifetime chance to spend this sacred time with Jesus. AsCheck Spelling our honorable guest, he requested that I prepare fish for supper every night. He and Lazarus would wake up early every morning and go fishing. They brought about fur fish home each day for me to cook. I loved serving Jesus and being his host, since it is not often others take time to tend to His needs. It was an amazing experience that I shall cherish for the rest of my days.
